4. Go to a Waffle House
I have wanted to go to a Waffle House ever since I saw the symbol for one on a 'food' sign off of I-95 in Maryland the first time we drove to DC. I remember that my ex-boyfriend's friend from college was from South Carolina and kept a Waffle House menu to remind her of home. I persuaded Scott to go with me with the promise of free lunch. It was definitely an experience... the food was pretty good- of course, I had to have a waffle and hashbrowns with sausage gravy. I definitely understand now why people end up here at all hours of the night. Now I can say I've been there and have satiated my curiosity.
